Who Am I

"It's listening, guiding and sharing life experiences."
-The Ann Arbor News Saturday, December 23, 2006

"The mentees with whom Therlon has spent time give him much praise for being a person they can speak frankly with and who they know will understand and try to help them overcome the barriers they are encountering as they strive to become employed."
- Nadia Purnell, Coordinator, Washtenaw County Michigan Mentoring Program

"The most dramatic characteristic that stands out about Therlon is his passion for helping individuals and organizations recognize and achieve their potential."
- Judy A. Apple, Owner/President, Sewing Notions, Inc., Ypsilanti, Michigan

"Rarely does one find an individual who has the degree of knowledge of current up to date information and who has the ability to expertly instill in his students the necessary competitive skills which are needed for obtaining the jobs of tomorrow for the next millennium."
- Juan P. Tucker, Genesee Valley Regional Center, Flint, Michigan

"I found his approach to his tasks to be very professional. His methods and techniques were excellent and his students' response was that they improved immensely in their knowledge and physical skills. His classroom discipline was also excellent. The students had much respect for him in that they seldom presented "acting out" problems in his classroom. Therlon genuinely liked his students and they constantly reciprocated this feeling."
- Leon R. Holman, retired School Principal, W.J. Maxey Boys Training School, Whitmore Lake, Michigan

"I've had the pleasure of working with him (Therlon) for a number years and have always found him to be inventive and spontaneous in his dealings with our difficult delinquent youth. He uses many enjoyable ways to get our students to want to learn."
- Jean A. Parsahll, Genesee Valley Regional Center, Flint, MIchigan
